Job summary
Darling Downs and West Moreton Primary Health Network in Brisbane is seeking a Director to provide strategic leadership of data, insights and intelligence to inform commissioning and planning.
You will lead analytics delivery, data governance, and build a high-performing team, shaping how data informs decisions across primary healthcare.
The role requires executive communication, healthcare knowledge, and a passion for innovation and ethical AI.
Qualifications
- Demonstrated leadership in BI, analytics and evidence-based decision-making.
- Strong understanding of primary healthcare and place-based commissioning.
- Expertise in data governance, privacy, security and responsible AI use.
- Proven ability to translate complex data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience with enterprise analytics platforms including Power BI, Azure Data Services or equivalent.
Responsibilities
- Lead the delivery of analytics, reporting and intelligence services.
- Oversee management of clinical, commissioning, population health and performance datasets.
- Ensure intelligence products support commissioning, needs assessment, planning, evaluation and performance improvement.
- Lead and develop the Data, Insights & Intelligence team and build capability.
- Foster a culture of innovation, collaboration and evidence-based decision-making.
- Oversee data governance, quality, privacy and information management practices.
- Oversee PHN's data, analytics and intelligence platforms and information assets.
- Ensure secure and ethical use of data and AI.
