Job summary

Metro North Health is seeking a Clinical Nurse Consultant – Team Leader for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) and Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (AMYOS). This role provides advanced clinical expertise and leads an interprofessional team across the Redcliffe and Caboolture catchments, integrating governance, supervision and recovery‑oriented care.

Job description

As the Clinical Nurse Consultant - Team Leader for the Child and Youth Mental Health Service (CYMHS) and Assertive Mobile Youth Outreach Service (AMYOS), you will provide advanced clinical expertise while leading the delivery of specialist mental health services for children and young people across the Redcliffe and Caboolture catchments. This role combines operational leadership, clinical governance and advanced nursing practice to support high-quality, recovery-oriented mental health care.

You will lead an interprofessional team, providing operational and clinical supervision while driving service improvement, workforce development and quality initiatives. The role also contributes directly to clinical care, supporting children, young people and their families through specialist assessment, treatment, crisis intervention and outreach services.
