Job summary

St Augustine's College, Cairns is seeking a Director of Administration to support the Principal and Deputy Principal in overall leadership and management. The role oversees daily operations, staff HR, records, and compliance with safety regulations, while advancing the college’s strategic plan within a Catholic education framework.

The position requires sacramental commitment, Catholic education leadership experience, and qualifications in Education and Religion, with registration eligibility

Qualifications

• Participation in and commitment to the sacramental life of the Church.
• Understanding and commitment to education in the Catholic tradition.
• Leadership experience demonstrated in religious and education leadership.
• Demonstrated administrative ability and interpersonal skills.
• Written and verbal communication skills of a high order.

Responsibilities

• Oversees daily organisation of the College in consultation with the Deputy Principal.
• Fosters commitment to the Strategic Plan across the College community.
• Oversees staff management, including human resources.
• Facilitates staff induction, development and performance reviews.
• Develops procedures for maintenance of College records and compliance with WHS.
