Job summary

Cochlear Limited is seeking a scientifically driven professional to build and lead Medical Affairs capabilities. Responsibilities

• Build Medical Affairs capability and define an effective operating approach across Cochlear.
• Develop evidence spines that support consistent, scientifically accurate messaging.
• Form the strategy for translating scientific evidence into coordinated communication and engagement activities.
• Align evidence-based messaging with global, regional, commercial, legal and other stakeholders.
• Coordinate publications, podium presentations, key opinion leader events and other evidence-based engagements.
• Balance commercial priorities with scientific evidence to withstand scrutiny.
• Clarify Medical Affairs accountabilities within an evolving operating environment.

You will shape the strategy for translating scientific evidence into clear and compelling messages across Cochlear’s products, product systems and category, while balancing scientific accuracy with commercial priorities. Working across a complex global stakeholder environment, you will help define accountabilities and strengthen how evidence is communicated through publications, presentations, key opinion leader engagement and other events.The Responsibilities:* Build Medical Affairs capability and help define an effective operating approach across Cochlear.* Develop evidence spines that support consistent, scientifically accurate and compelling product and category messaging.* Form the strategy for translating scientific evidence into coordinated communication and engagement activities.* Align evidence-based messaging with global, regional, commercial, legal and other key stakeholders.* In close collaboration with key partners, coordinate publications, podium presentations, key opinion leader events and other evidence-based engagement activities.* Balance commercial priorities with scientific evidence to ensure external messaging can withstand appropriate scrutiny.* Help clarify Medical Affairs accountabilities and make effective decisions within an evolving operating environment.**About You**As we grow our operations, we are looking for people who share our passion for delivering quality hearing solutions to our customers.
