Job summary

The Queensland Government seeks a Director to lead Cairns Hospital Redevelopment Stage 1B, overseeing planning, design, construction, commissioning and operational integration of a >$1B healthcare infrastructure project. You will partner with HIQ and ensure safe service commencement and a lasting regional legacy.

You will establish robust governance, manage workforce readiness, models of care translation, digital integration and change management, while guiding investment cases and funding

Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end operational commissioning and service integration, including workforce readiness and change management.
• Establish governance, risk and assurance frameworks, with identification, escalation and mitigation of risks.
• Provide oversight of financial performance, budget alignment, and cost pressures within funding parameters.
• Develop robust investment cases for future Cairns Hospital Master Plan stages.
