Job summary

Aequalis Consulting is seeking a Director – Infrastructure Advisory & Transactions to lead major procurement and transaction engagements nationwide. This role combines strategic leadership with delivery focus, mentoring teams and building trusted client relationships across Transport, Energy and Social Infrastructure programs.

You will drive market engagement, bid processes, and governance support while expanding the national advisory platform.

Director – Infrastructure Advisory & Transactions

We’re partnering with a national consulting business that continues to win flagship infrastructure work across Transport, Energy and Social Infrastructure — and they’re now looking to strengthen their senior leadership team with an experienced infrastructure advisory leader ready for a bigger platform.

This is not a “maintenance mode” Director role.

It suits someone who still wants to build.

Someone commercial. Connected. Delivery-focused. Someone who enjoys leading major procurement and transaction engagements, mentoring teams and building trusted client relationships — but wants more agility, more momentum and less bureaucracy.

You’ll step into an established pipeline of major programs while helping shape future growth nationally.

The role

You’ll lead and grow complex infrastructure advisory engagements across areas including:

• Market engagement and bid process leadership
• Contract and delivery model development
• Evaluation, negotiation and governance support
• Client relationship management and work winning

Projects span major Transport, Energy and Social Infrastructure programs nationally.

• Senior infrastructure advisory / transaction management experience within consulting, government or major projects
• Strong background leading large, complex procurement processes and commercial workstreams
• Experience across major infrastructure projects ($200m+ ideally)
• Credibility with senior government and private sector stakeholders
