Job summary

The Attorney-General’s Department in Adelaide is seeking a highly experienced HR executive to lead its Human Resources function for a workforce of more than 2,500. You will report to the Executive Director, Finance, People and Performance, guiding a multidisciplinary team and providing trusted advice to the Chief Executive and senior leaders.

Reporting to the Executive Director, Finance, People and Performance, you will lead a multidisciplinary HR team and provide trusted advice to the Chief Executive and senior leaders. You will drive workforce strategy, leadership capability, organisational culture and contemporary HR service delivery, while overseeing employee and industrial relations, performance, wellbeing, work health and safety, injury management and organisational change. You will bring extensive senior HR leadership experience, sound judgement and the ability to build trusted relationships and deliver practical outcomes in a large, complex organisation.
