Job summary

The University of Melbourne is seeking a high-impact Director, Enterprise Partnerships (Health and Life Sciences) to lead the Melbourne Enterprise and Melbourne Research and Enterprise Portfolio. This fixed-term, full-time appointment will drive strategic partnerships across health, life sciences and related industries.

You will report to the Executive Director, Partnerships and Precincts, identify opportunities, shape value propositions, and mobilise a multidisciplinary team to deliver outcomes

Qualifications

• This role requires senior leadership experience in partnerships, business development or enterprise across health and life sciences.
• Proven ability to convert opportunities into strategic partnerships and partnerships ecosystem.
• Experience engaging with industry, government, healthcare and research institutions.

Responsibilities

• Originate, shape and convert high-value strategic partnerships across health and life sciences.
• Lead business development and key account management with external stakeholders.
• Translate university capabilities into compelling partner propositions.
• Mobilise multidisciplinary teams to respond to opportunities and maximise impact.
• Guide a sector-led, partner-centric approach to enterprise engagement using data and CRM.
