Responsibilities

  • Own the Group planning and forecasting cycle, including the annual budget, rolling forecast, long range plan and the Group planning calendar.

  • Own delivery of the monthly SLT and Board reporting pack, including variance bridges, KPI commentary, executive insight and the consolidated risks and opportunities position.
  • Set and govern Group planning standards, definitions, hierarchies, mappings, version control and sign off points so there is one version of the truth across segments.

  • Drive measurable improvement in forecast accuracy, reliability, timeliness and frequency, including the move to an 18 month rolling forecast and a three statement view.
  • Own the Workday Adaptive Planning model architecture and roadmap, including model design, self service reporting, OfficeConnect, workflow, access controls and data integrity.
  • Build the financial foundations for Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) integration, connecting demand, supply, capacity and workforce plans to the financial forecast as the business matures.
  • Lead and develop the Group FP&A team, and set the standard, ways of working and capability uplift for Segment FP&A leaders through the hub and spoke operating model.
  • Partner with Group Accounting, BTS, Data and P&C to improve data quality, controls and automation across the FP&A process, reducing manual effort and reliance on spreadsheets.
  • Support the CFO and General Manager, Group Finance on capital allocation, investment cases, transformation economics and enterprise wide financial analysis.
