Job summary

Department of Human Services SA seeks an accomplished Director to lead the Concessions CARE Program, driving a major reform across South Australia and delivering a technology-enabled transformation for concession services.

Reporting to the Director, Concessions and Interpreting Services, you will set strategy, govern delivery, and manage a hybrid workforce of government staff, contractors and vendors, partnering with senior executives to achieve outcomes for communities.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large-scale business and technology transformation programs.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders across government and external organisations.
• Strong commercial, governance and risk management capability.
• Experience leading multidisciplinary teams in complex environments.
• A track record of delivering strategic outcomes through collaboration, innovation and customer focus.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead the Concessions CARE Program, establishing strategic direction and delivery frameworks.
• Lead governance, accountability structures and delivery oversight.
• Manage a complex hybrid workforce of government staff, contractors and vendors.
• Deliver programme outcomes on time and within budget while managing risks and minimising disruption.
• Collaborate with senior executives across government, industry partners and technology vendors to achieve outcomes.
