Job summary

Latrobe Regional Health is seeking a senior professional to oversee the delivery of high‑quality cardiac diagnostic services in a regional health setting. The role focuses on clinical excellence, compliance with professional standards, and continuous service development.

You will lead cardiac physiologists and sonographers, drive workforce planning, recruitment and ongoing professional development, and collaborate with the Cath Lab team on STEMI protocols and emergency workflows.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Cardiac Physiology or related field and current registration or eligibility.
• Extensive experience in cardiac diagnostics including echocardiography, stress testing, pacemaker/ICD clinics and advanced cardiac technologies.
• Proven leadership and management experience in healthcare with focus on wellbeing, performance and professional growth.

Responsibilities

• Oversee delivery of high-quality cardiac diagnostic services (ECG, Holter, stress testing, echocardiography, pacemaker/ICD clinics).
• Provide clinical and operational leadership to cardiac physiologists and sonographers, supporting workforce planning and development.
• Drive service development, innovation and quality improvement across cardiac diagnostic and interventional services.
• Support acute cardiac services with Cath Lab team, STEMI protocol implementation and emergency workflows.
