Job summary

C&K Middlemount Community Childcare Centre in Queensland seeks a Director to lead a safe, supportive and engaging learning environment for children, families and the wider community. You’ll shape a culture where everyone belongs, grows and thrives, drawing on your ideas, passion and leadership experience.

This permanent full-time role starts January 2027. You’ll join a trusted, child-safe organisation that values professional development, mentoring and strong partnerships with local families,

Qualifications

• ACECQA approved Bachelor’s Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent with leadership experience.
• Approved Child Protection Training or willingness to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma/Anaphylaxis certification.
• Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check.
• Knowledge of NQF/SE and EYLF/QLD Kindergarten Learning Guide.
• National Child Safety Training – Foundation and Advanced Certificate.

What you’ll bring

We strongly uphold our child safety policies and procedures. To thrive and succeed in this role, you will have:

• An ACECQA approved Bachelor’s Degree of Early Childhood Education or equivalent with experience in a similar leadership role
• Approved Child Protection Training or the willingness to obtain.
• First Aid, CPR and Asthma and Anaphylaxis certification.
• Valid Blue Card or Exemption Card.
• Current Police Check
• Knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Standards and the Early Years Learning Framework and Queensland Kindergarten Learning Guide.
• Completed National Child Safety Training- Foundation and Advanced Certificate (Courses 1 to 5)
