Job summary

Quantum Navigators is seeking a Direct Services Manager to lead and develop direct support services across our growing NDIS operations in Queensland. You will work closely with the Director to oversee direct support operations, build the workforce and expand offerings, including future High Intensity Supports and SIL services.

The role emphasizes leadership of frontline teams, workforce planning, and maintaining high standards of person-centred care while strengthening referral relationships

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in disability/health/community services.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and relationship management.
• Expertise in person-centred support, participant risk and safeguarding.
• Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators and Code of Conduct.
• Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card) and NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

Job description

As Direct Services Manager, you will lead and develop direct support services for Quantum Navigators, a growing NDIS provider. This is a hands‑on leadership role working closely with the Director to oversee direct support operations, develop the support workforce, strengthen referral relationships and help expand service offerings, including future High Intensity Supports and Supported Independent Living (SIL) services.

Key responsibilities

Lead the day-to-day operation and development of direct support services.

Ensure participants receive safe, reliable and person-centred supports.

Build and maintain strong relationships with participants, families, Support Coordinators, Plan Managers, Allied Health professionals and other stakeholders.

Develop referral pathways and identify opportunities to grow direct services.

Lead and support the Disability Support Worker Team Leader and support workforce.

Participate in recruitment, selection, mentoring and performance management of the direct support workforce.

Oversee workforce planning and rostering to support continuity of care and sustainable service delivery.

Respond to participant, workforce and operational issues and ensure appropriate follow‑up.

Drive improvements across systems, processes and service delivery.

Support compliance with NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators and organisational policies.

About you

Leadership or management experience within disability, health, aged care, community services or a related sector.

Experience managing frontline teams and service delivery operations.

Strong knowledge of person-centred support, participant risk and safeguarding.

Strong communication, stakeholder engagement and relationship-management skills.

Knowledge of NDIS Practice Standards, Quality Indicators and Code of Conduct.

Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card).

Current NDIS Worker Screening Clearance.

Current First Aid Certificate.

Current CPR Certificate.

NDIS Worker Orientation Module - Quality, Safety and You certificate.
