Job summary

Little and Loud Childcare in NSW is seeking a Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join a dedicated team. The role is full-time, with Monday to Friday shifts within 7:30am–5:30pm, collaborating across staff to deliver high-quality early education and care for children aged 14 months to 6 years.

You will contribute to planning and evaluating learning experiences, ensure safety and positive relationships, and support children’s development through inclusive, compliant practices.

Qualifications

• Hold an ACECQA approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care; working toward is acceptable.
• Hold a current NSW Working with Children Check.
• Hold current approved first aid, CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis management qualifications.
• Complete mandatory Child Safety Training as required by GECCKO.
• Have a sound understanding of the National Quality Framework and related legislation.
• Demonstrate knowledge of child safety, mandatory reporting obligations and safeguarding practices.
• Be confident in planning, implementing and documenting educational programs.
• Demonstrate initiative, reliability and teamwork.
• Communicate effectively with children, families and colleagues.

Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator

Little and Loud is seeking a passionate and knowledgeable Diploma Qualified Early Childhood Educator to join our dedicated team, committed to providing high-quality education and care for children between 14 months and 6 years. As a valued member of our team, you will work collaboratively with educators and our management team to create a positive, inclusive, and engaging learning environment where every child feels safe, supported and inspired to learn. This position is a full-time position requiring availability Monday to Friday, with rostered shifts within our operating hours of 7:30am - 5:30pm.

Key responsibilities

Working collaboratively with all team members to maintain high standards of education and care.

Contribute to our educational program, planning, implementing and evaluating meaningful learning experiences in accordance with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF).

Ensure children's safety and wellbeing through active supervision, effective risk management and adherence to child protection and safeguarding procedures.

Build and maintain positive, respectful relationships with children, families, educators and the wider community.

Support children's individual learning, development and wellbeing through responsive and inclusive practices.

Follow service policies and procedures and maintain compliance with the National Quality Framework and relevant legislation.

Contribute to the daily operations of the service.

About you
