Job summary

Ballarat and District Aboriginal Co-operative (BADAC) invites applications for a Diploma Educator/Room Leader at Yaluk Burron Early Learning. This full-time role (38 hours per week) offers immediate start and an above award wage based on knowledge and experience, plus generous staff discounts and salary packaging.

You’ll work at Yaluk Burron Early Learning Centre, actively supporting Aboriginal culture, family involvement, and high-quality early years programming in a culturally safe environment.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care or ACECQA-approved equivalent qualification.
• Understanding of, or commitment to learn the 8 Aboriginal Ways of Learning (8AWOL).
• Available to work between 7:00am and 6:00pm.
• Sound understanding of VEYLDF, Child Safe Standards and Child Protection, Children’s Services Regulations and NQS.
• Current Working with Children Check and current First Aid/CPR certificates.
