Job summary

Mini Masterminds Box Hill is seeking a dedicated Diploma Educator to join our 84-place centre on a full-time, 4-day week schedule.

You will collaborate with your team to deliver play-based learning, build strong relationships with children and families, and support curriculum delivery while ensuring compliance with NQF and regulatory requirements. A focus on leadership and room management will be part of the role.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Available to work Monday-Thursday, with the flexibility to work 10 hour shifts.
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQS.
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing engaging educational programs.
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment.
• Observe and document children's learning and development.
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
• Collaborate to deliver high-quality education and care.
• Ensure compliance with NQF, NQS, and relevant legislation.
• Act as the Responsible Person for the service.
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.
• Lead the room in the Lead Educator's absence.
• Open and close shifts to support daily operations.
