Job summary

Mini Masterminds Lidcombe is hiring a Full-Time Diploma Educator to join our 75-place centre. You will deliver play-based learning experiences, support child development, and collaborate with a dedicated team to provide a high-quality learning environment.

Applicants must hold a ACECQA-approved Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care, WWCC, current First Aid/CPR, asthma and anaphylaxis certificates, Child Protection training, and knowledge of EYLF and NQS.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved).
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC).
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications.
• Current Child Protection training/certificate.
• Strong knowledge of the EYLF and NQS.
• Preferably 2+ years’ experience working in early childhood education and care.

• Support the planning and implementation of engaging educational programs
• Create a safe, nurturing, and inclusive learning environment
• Observe and document children's learning and development
• Build positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
• Collaborate with the team to deliver high-quality education and care
• Ensure compliance with the National Quality Framework (NQF), National Quality Standards (NQS), and all relevant legislation
• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the centre
• Support children's wellbeing, learning, and development through meaningful interactions

About The Role

As a Diploma Educator, you will work collaboratively with your team to deliver engaging, play-based learning experiences that support each child's learning, development, and wellbeing.

About You

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care (ACECQA-approved)
• Current Working With Children Check (WWCC)
• Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certifications
• Current Child Protection training/certificate
• Strong knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS)
• Preferably 2+ years’ experience working in an early childhood education and care setting
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• A genuine passion for early childhood education
