Job summary

ECMS’s Oakhill Family Centre in Melbourne’s inner suburbs invites a Diploma Educator to join a not-for-profit community focused team. You will support play-based learning and ensure children’s safety while partnering with families to foster growth.

With a Diploma in Early Childhood Education and current WWCC and child safety certifications, you will contribute to reflective practice, collaborate with colleagues, and deliver engaging experiences across a rotating 38-hour week.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
• Current WWCC, Mandatory Reporting, Foundations of Child Safety, Police Check, and First Aid in ECE setting certificates.
• Knowledge of child safety standards and ECEC regulations.
• Ability to build relationships with children and families.

Responsibilities

• Create a safe, nurturing learning environment for children.
• Develop and implement play-based learning experiences.
• Foster partnerships with families and the community.
• Participate in reflective practice and program planning.

Education

Diploma in Early Childhood Education or equivalent

Working with Children Check (WWCC)

Mandatory Reporting Certificate

Foundations of Child Safety training certificate

Police Check

First Aid in an Education and Care Setting certificate
