Job summary

Sydney Church of England Grammar School – Northbridge NSW is seeking a Diploma-qualified Advanced Child Care Educator to join Shore Early Learning Centre from January 2027 to December 2027.

You will work closely with the Room Leader and fellow educators to support engaging learning experiences and provide high quality education and care for children aged 3–5 years, with a full-time schedule 8.00am–6.00pm, 48 weeks per year.

Qualifications

• Diploma or higher in Early Childhood Education and Care.
• Current First Aid, Anaphylaxis and Emergency Asthma Management training.
• NSW Working With Children Check (WWCC) required.

Responsibilities

• Build positive, nurturing relationships with children.
• Support the delivery of engaging early learning programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
• Collaborate with educators and room leaders to maintain a positive learning environment.
• Contribute to planning, documentation and implementation of the educational program.
• Maintain strong communication and partnerships with families.
• Assist in maintaining a welcoming, safe and inclusive environment for children and families.
• Provide leadership within the room when required, including acting as Responsible Person where appropriate.
