Job summary

Hindmarsh Retirement is seeking Food Services Assistants for Bellerive Retirement Village and The Grange Deakin Retirement Village. Casual day shifts during school hours and casual evening shifts are available.

You'll serve food and beverages in café or dining areas, keep areas clean and hygienic, wash dishes, assist with function setups, and help with food safety records. Training will be provided and shifts are flexible to fit your schedule.

Responsibilities

• Serve food and coffee orders in café or dining areas
• Keep dining area clean, tidy and hygienic, including kitchen servery and seating areas
• Clear away used crockery from tables, clean and prepare tables
• Wash used dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils
• Light vacuuming and tidying of dining areas for next day
• Keep records and make reports as part of Food Safety procedures
• Set up and pack down café or dining rooms for catered functions and events
