Qualifications

• knowledge of how to plan and teach a curriculum that develops future focused learning skills (collaboration, creativity, critical thinking, communication)

Are you a VIT-registered Digital Technologies Teacher looking to join a friendly and innovative teaching team? This is an exciting opportunity to join Good Shepherd Lutheran Primary School in the role of Digital Technologies Teacher.

Selection criteria

Our ideal candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• current registration with the Victorian Institute of Teaching (VIT)

• degree level qualification or higher in education/teaching (essential) and qualifications in digital technologies (desirable)

• knowledge of and experience in delivering Australian Curriculum Technologies – Digital Technologies and General Capabilities – ICT

• knowledge and experience in delivering eSafety content

• knowledge of how to plan and teach a curriculum that develops future focused learning skills, with a particular emphasis on the areas of collaboration, creativity, critical thinking and communication

• capacity to be innovative in the differentiation of learning experiences for students

• capacity to develop sustained and trusting relationships with staff members, students and parents

• commitment to collaborate with members of staff to build a team environment that supports student learning

• commitment to personal professional development

• understanding of and commitment to the ethos of Christian school education.
