Job summary

EnergyAustralia in Victoria is seeking an experienced Business Analyst - Digital to support solution design and technical alignment for system integrations within our Customer Transformation Program. You will lead requirements analysis, document data flows, and collaborate with architects, developers, testers and stakeholders to ensure solutions meet business and technology needs.

Qualifications

• Tertiary qualifications in Business, Information Systems, or related field; CBAP/PMI-PBA encouraged.
• Deep experience with digital channels and core customer platforms.
• Translate complex business and system requirements into clear documentation for technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Proven experience as a BA on system integrations (API, data flows, cloud environments).
• Experience in agile and/or hybrid delivery environments, with strong facilitation and requirements management skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with confidence in presenting to senior leadership and governance forums.
• Experience with major corporate transformations (desirable).
• Experience within utilities/energy industry (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Lead the analysis and documentation of business requirements, user stories, and process flows related to system integrations and data exchanges.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams — including architects, developers, testers, and business stakeholders — to ensure integration solutions meet business needs and technical standards.
• Map and document data flows between core platforms, identifying dependencies, gaps, and opportunities for optimisation.
• Facilitate workshops and discovery sessions to gather requirements and validate integration designs and interface specifications.
• Support testing and validation of integrated systems by defining acceptance criteria, reviewing test cases, and assisting with defect triage.
• Provide clear traceability between business requirements, integration designs, and delivered outcomes, ensuring alignment with the broader Customer Transformation roadmap.
