Oxford University Press is expanding its Digital Product team in Australia. We’re seeking a Digital Systems Manager to shape the systems that underpin our digital platforms, owner of the technology stack, and driver of reliable, secure solutions that scale with customer and business needs.

Qualifications

• Proven experience managing business-critical digital platforms or systems lifecycle.
• Strong technical acumen across system architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, IAM, security and release management.
• Ability to translate customer and business needs into clear system requirements and delivery plans.
• Experience working with Agile methods and tools such as Jira and Confluence.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and education market dynamics in ANZ.

Responsibilities

• Define the vision and strategy for digital systems supporting the core platform.
• Engage customers and stakeholders to identify needs and opportunities using research and data.
• Develop and maintain a multi-year systems roadmap and prioritise initiatives.
• Ensure systems integration creates coherent, scalable experiences across journeys.
• Lead solution discovery, requirements, implementation, adoption and optimisation.
• Explore AI, automation and emerging tech to improve customer experiences.
• Use feedback and data to measure performance and drive improvements.
• Collaborate with technology partners to deliver roadmap priorities.
• Communicate technical concepts and value to varied audiences.
