Job summary

Dijitally, based in Australia, seeks an experienced Freelance Project Manager to lead a major website replatforming project. You’ll drive delivery, timelines, and budgets while coordinating with internal teams and the client.

This 100% remote freelance engagement runs through 18 December 2026 with core Australian AEST hours. The role requires strong Agile delivery, stakeholder management, and hands-on CMS/Figma/CRM familiarity to ensure high-quality outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Project & Delivery Management: Develop and maintain detailed project plans, scopes, timelines, budgets, and schedules; brief, manage, and support internal teams; apply Agile frameworks; make minor CMS/CRM/Figma updates; manage dependencies and deadlines across workstreams.
• Client Partnership & Communication: Act as day-to-day client contact; interrogate briefs; collaborate with stakeholders to refine requirements; deliver polished documentation and clear timelines.
• Quality & Risk Management: Own QA/testing cycles; identify risks early and implement mitigation plans; maintain accuracy and alignment with the brief.
• Financial & Resource Management: Define and monitor budgets; track time and utilization; manage reconciliation, invoice schedules, and forecasting.

With exciting projects ahead, we’re looking for an experienced Freelance Project Manager to take a key role in delivering a major website replatforming project. You’ll need to be available to start as soon as possible and work with us through to the end of the year.

Here’s what you’ll be doing

Project & Delivery Management

• Develop and maintain detailed project plans, scopes, timelines, budgets, and schedules.

• Brief, manage, and support internal teams to deliver high-quality outcomes.

• Apply Agile frameworks, including Scrum and Kanban, to support efficient, flexible workflows.

• Make minor updates within CMS, CRM, or Figma, such as uploading content or refining UI copy.

• Proactively manage dependencies, deadlines, and deliverables across concurrent workstreams.

Client Partnership & Communication

• Act as a day-to-day contact for clients, providing updates, managing expectations, and resolving problems quickly.

• Interrogate briefs and collaborate with stakeholders to clarify and refine requirements.

• Deliver polished documentation, clear timelines, and responsive communication.

Quality & Risk Management

• Own QA and testing cycles to ensure outputs meet technical, UX, and brand standards.

• Identify project risks early and put mitigation plans in place.

• Maintain accuracy, consistency, and alignment with the brief throughout delivery.

Financial & Resource Management

• Work with project and client teams to define and monitor budgets.

• Track time, utilisation, and delivery to keep projects financially healthy.

• Manage reconciliation, invoice schedules, and forecasting.

Here’s what you’ll bring

• 5+ years of experience in a digital agency or similar environment, with a track record of managing complex website builds.

• Availability to start ASAP and commit to the engagement through to the end of December 2026.

• The ability to get up to speed quickly and take ownership of delivery.

• Impeccable attention to detail and strong organisational skills.

• A strong understanding of workflows across creative, development, UX, and media teams.

• Experience with Agile methodologies and digital delivery frameworks.

• Confident, clear, and solutions-focused stakeholder management.

• The ability to balance multiple priorities without compromising quality.

• Experience using tools such as Productive, Slack, Asana, Jira, Trello, or similar.

• A quiet, reliable remote work setup with high-speed internet.

• Bonus points for website replatforming experience and hands-on familiarity with CMS platforms, Figma, or CRM tools.
