Job summary

Howe and Russell is seeking a Digital Marketing Assistant to join our Australian team in Victoria. You’ll support the Marketing Manager and team across digital campaigns, social media, email, and SEO, with funded training to develop the role.

You don’t need prior marketing experience; we value attitude, reliability and a willingness to learn. The position is full-time and office-based in Wodonga, with travel to our Victorian offices as needed.

About the Role

As our Digital Marketing Assistant, you'll work closely with our Digital Marketing Manager and wider team to support the delivery of digital marketing activities across the business.

You’ll learn how digital campaigns come together, how businesses connect with customers online and how effective marketing contributes to business growth.

This is a hands-on role where attention to detail, consistency, organisation and a willingness to learn are just as important as creativity.

Your responsibilities will include:

Assist with the planning, preparation and delivery of digital marketing campaigns

Support social media promotions, digital content and online marketing activities

Assist with email marketing campaigns and customer communications

Develop practical knowledge of search engine optimisation (SEO) and paid online advertising

Help monitor campaign results and prepare basic performance reports

Check content, information and campaign materials for accuracy, quality and consistency

Coordinate day-to-day marketing tasks and help ensure deadlines are met

Work collaboratively with your Digital Marketing Manager and team to achieve business objectives

Take ownership of your responsibilities and continually build your skills and knowledge.

About You

Two fully funded training courses delivered over a two-week period, designed to equip you with the foundational knowledge required for the role

Practical, hands‑on learning alongside an experienced Marketing Manager and supportive team

Ongoing guidance as you develop your understanding of digital marketing tools, platforms and campaigns

What We Offer

OTE of $108,000 plus superannuation (comprising a 60% base salary and 40% performance-based bonus)

Location & Working Arrangements

We believe the best way to learn, grow and build confidence in a new career is to work closely with experienced colleagues, ask questions and gain practical, hands‑on experience every day.

For this reason, this is a full-time, office-based position requiring attendance five days per week. You’ll benefit from direct access to your Digital Marketing Manager, structured guidance and the opportunity to develop your skills as part of a collaborative team.

Our planned permanent office location for this position will be Wodonga. As we consolidate our Victorian satellite offices, the role will initially involve travel of approximately 45 minutes to the relevant office location during the first 12 months. A company fuel card will be provided to support this arrangement.
