Job summary

VicRoads Registration and Licensing Services (RLS) in Melbourne seeks an Internal Communications Advisor for a six-month max term. You will craft engaging content, support senior stakeholders, and deliver campaigns that connect staff to our purpose, strategy and values.

You will manage the intranet, lead town halls and partner with People & Culture and Brand teams to drive employee engagement. A digital-first approach and strong storytelling are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience in internal communications, corporate affairs, journalism or a related discipline.
• Proven storytelling ability to simplify complex messages for diverse audiences.
• Strong relationships with senior stakeholders and confident communications adviser.
• Experience delivering integrated campaigns from strategy through evaluation.
• Proficiency with SharePoint, EDM platforms and digital channels.

Responsibilities

• Create engaging content across email, intranet and events.
• Coordinate internal events, town halls and staff engagement activities.
• Lead intranet management and SharePoint improvements.
• Develop comms strategies and campaigns aligned to business initiatives.
• Collaborate with People & Culture, Brand and External Communications teams.
• Deliver end-to-end campaigns with audience targeting and evaluation.
• Monitor and report on communication effectiveness using analytics.
• Manage Internal Communications mailbox and on-call communications support.
