Job summary

SMEC is seeking a Digital Engineering Lead for Victoria and Tasmania, based in Melbourne. You will lead digital engineering capability across major infrastructure projects, focusing on transport and rail/metro sectors, and collaborate with project and leadership teams to implement digital delivery improvements.

You will coach multidisciplinary teams, promote standardized information management, and identify opportunities for automation, while aligning with client requirements and industry

Qualifications

• Strong Digital Engineering and BIM experience in an engineering design environment.
• Ability to lead, influence and build trusted cross-discipline relationships.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models, federation and project information.

Responsibilities

• Lead and strengthen Digital Engineering capability across VIC/TAS projects.
• Guide teams to meet client requirements, project objectives and industry standards.
• Promote consistent digital practices and drive automation and improvement across delivery.
