Job summary

SMEC is seeking a Digital Engineering Lead – VIC/TAS to lead and strengthen Digital Engineering capability across infrastructure projects in Victoria and Tasmania, with a focus on Transport and Rail & Metro sectors.

Based in Melbourne, you will work closely with project, technical and leadership teams to improve how Digital Engineering is applied, providing practical leadership and guidance to meet client requirements and industry standards.

Qualifications

Strong experience across Digital Engineering and BIM in infrastructure.
Understanding Victorian/Australian modeling standards.
Experience coordinating multidisciplinary models and federation.
Familiarity with Autodesk, Bentley and 12D.
Experience with project information and collaboration platforms.
Ability to integrate design disciplines and information across complex projects.
Leadership, coaching and stakeholder engagement skills.

Responsibilities

Lead and strengthen Digital Engineering capability across VIC/TAS projects.
Collaborate with project teams to improve digital delivery and information management.
Coach and mentor multidisciplinary teams in BIM and data workflows.
Identify opportunities for automation and innovation in project delivery.
