Job summary

Sigma Healthcare invites a Digital Business Analyst to join its Digital team, collaborating with Program Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners and stakeholders to define requirements and support delivery of digital initiatives. You’ll facilitate discovery sessions, translate complex needs into practical solutions, and assist testing, change and implementation across multiple initiatives.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience as a Business Analyst, ideally within a Digital or Ecommerce environment, with previous experience in retail or FMCG highly regarded.
• Gathering, documenting and managing business requirements, developing user stories and functional specifications, translating business needs into practical technology solutions.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyse data and business processes, identify trends and opportunities, and make recommendations based on commercial and business impacts.
• Proven ability to facilitate discovery sessions, workshops and stakeholder meetings, with confidence engaging stakeholders at all levels, including senior leaders and technical teams.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and experience working collaboratively with Program Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners and cross-functional teams.
• Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities, make informed decisions around requirements, scope and prioritisation, and work effectively across multiple projects and initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Partner with Program Managers, Project Managers, Product Owners and business stakeholders to facilitate discovery and scoping sessions, understand business needs, gather and validate requirements, define priorities and translate requirements into clear business and functional documentation.
• Analyse business processes, commercial data, budgets, sales results and forecasts to identify opportunities for improvement, efficiencies and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain business requirements, functional specifications, process maps and user stories, ensuring complex technical requirements are translated into clear and practical outcomes for the business.
• Support solution design, implementation and testing activities, working with technical and business teams to ensure solutions meet agreed requirements and deliver the intended outcomes.
• Support business transition and change activities, helping stakeholders understand and adopt new processes, systems and ways of working.
• Build strong relationships across all levels of the organisation, facilitate stakeholder meetings and workshops, and confidently present findings, recommendations and project updates to senior leaders.
• Work within an Agile environment and contribute to effective requirement prioritisation, scope management and delivery planning across multiple initiatives.
• Proactively identify issues, risks and opportunities throughout the project lifecycle and work collaboratively with stakeholders to develop practical solutions and resolve challenges.
