Job summary

Metro North Health is seeking a permanent part-time Nutrition and Dietetics professional to deliver high quality, evidence-based services across the continuum of care to patients and families within STARS.

Work within an interprofessional team, organize caseloads, follow clinical protocols, and progressively apply independent clinical judgement under supervision. The role supports flexible work arrangements and professional development.

Responsibilities

• Deliver high quality nutrition and dietetic clinical services across a variety of caseloads in accordance with prescribed professional and ethical standards.
• Organise and prioritise allocated patient caseload and undertake routine nutrition and dietetic tasks within well established clinical protocols and approved clinical management plans.
• As experience builds, apply increasingly independent clinical judgement to more complex clinical decision making under supervision from a senior clinician.
• Work cooperatively and effectively within the nutrition and dietetic and interprofessional team and with patients and their families to provide value based and collaborative care.
