Job summary

Cummins Leeton is seeking a skilled Technician to join our Leeton team, performing a mix of workshop and field service on heavy vehicles and equipment across mining, on-highway, industrial and power generation applications. Be part of a dynamic team and gain exposure to varied settings while staying close to home on a Monday–Friday day shift.

You will service, repair and maintain engines, diagnose problems, disassemble and recondition components, and participate in an annual bonus program.

Qualifications

• Mechanical trade qualified as Heavy Diesel Mechanic, or Light Vehicle with Heavy experience.
• Experience as a Diesel Mechanic in the service and maintenance of heavy diesel products, and similar applications is preferred (ideally with an OEM).
• Field Service mechanical experience preferred.
• Must have a MVTC - Motor vehicle trade certificate, or be willing to obtain one.

Responsibilities

• Complete repairs and maintenance of heavy diesel products and attend to breakdowns in the field.
• Diagnose and repair engines.
• Disassemble, inspect, and clean engines and /or engine components.
• Engine rebuilding and reconditioning.
