Penske Australia is seeking an experienced Diesel Technician for our Mackay team. You will perform maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on diesel engines and related equipment, including MTU, Detroit Diesel and Allison systems, across various industries.

You will conduct pre-delivery testing, complete accurate service reports, and participate in field service activities while upholding safety, quality, and customer service standards.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Diesel Mechanic or Heavy Vehicle Mechanic or equivalent.
• Strong diagnostic and troubleshooting skills.
• Knowledge of MTU, Detroit Diesel and/or Allison products.
• Commitment to workplace safety and quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsabilités

• Complete repair and maintenance work instructions to a high standard.
• Diagnose faults and carry out repairs on diesel engines and related equipment.
• Conduct pre-delivery testing and inspections.
• Complete accurate job reports and service documentation.
• Participate in field service activities as required.
• Provide proactive customer service and technical support.
• Work safely and comply with HSE and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with the wider service team to deliver outstanding customer outcomes.
