Penske Australia & New Zealand is seeking a skilled Diesel Mechanic / Technician to join our Hazelmere workshop team. You will work on world-class engines, perform diagnostics, repairs and pre-delivery checks, and deliver high-quality service in a fast-paced environment.

Ideal candidates have diesel trade qualifications or equivalent heavy industry experience, strong engine reconditioning skills, and a proven ability to work unsupervised while contributing to a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications in diesel mechanics or related heavy industry trade.
• Strong engine reconditioning aptitude and mechanical practice.
• Ability to work unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Good communication skills with customers and colleagues.

Responsibilities

• Complete engine repairs, diagnostics and overhauls including dynamometer testing.
• Perform pre-delivery inspections and tests for customer satisfaction.
• Prepare accurate job reports and documentation.
• Carry out workshop and field service work.
• Follow detailed work instructions and maintain high quality.
• Contribute to safety, quality and productivity improvements.
• Demonstrate safe work practices and uphold company values.
