Job summary

Aston Advantage is seeking a skilled diesel mechanic to service and repair a range of diesel-driven pumps, generators, and related equipment. The role offers a mix of workshop and field service, with a company vehicle provided for site calls and ongoing support for on-site maintenance.

You will work on 4″ to 12″ pumps and generators, gaining exposure to dewatering and power generation equipment, with opportunities for long-term career growth.

Qualifications

• Trade-qualified diesel mechanic or equivalent.
• Experience with diesel engines, pumps and generators.
• Experience with Hatz, Perkins and Yanmar engines is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, diagnose and repair 4″ to 12″ diesel-driven pumps, generators and associated equipment.
• Carry out workshop servicing and field breakdowns.
• Fault finding and preventative maintenance across customer sites.
