Waraich Mechanicals Pty Ltd in Rocklea, QLD, is seeking a qualified Diesel Motor Mechanic for a full-time role (38 hours per week). The successful applicant will diagnose, service, maintain and repair diesel-powered vehicles to ensure safe, reliable operation.

Salary ranges from $79,500 to $85,000 per annum plus superannuation, commensurate with qualifications and experience. The position requires a certificate IV in automotive mechanics and at least 12 months of relevant experience.

Qualifications

• AQF Cert IV in Automotive Mechanical Technology or related qualification.
• Minimum 12 months of relevant employment as a Diesel Motor Mechanic or similar role.
• Experience diagnosing, servicing and repairing diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Ability to interpret technical diagrams and operate diagnostic equipment safely.

Responsabilités

• Diagnose mechanical and electrical faults in diesel engines and vehicles.
• Inspect, service and repair diesel engines and mechanical systems.
• Dismantle, inspect and reassemble engines, gearboxes and braking systems.
• Perform scheduled servicing and preventive maintenance.
• Test and adjust fuel injection systems and engine management components.
• Maintain accurate servicing records and ensure safety compliance.
