Job summary

B & B Machinery, based in Toowoomba, is seeking a Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician to join our team. You will perform pre-delivery checks on new machines and service and repair tractors and agricultural equipment in the workshop or in the field.

The role requires trade qualifications (Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic) and a manual license; HR is preferred but not essential. You should have knowledge of hydraulic and electrical systems and be prepared for in-field breakdown call outs.

Qualifications

• Trade qualifications Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic
• HR license (preferred)
• Exposure to Agricultural machinery (AGCO branded preferred)
• Sound knowledge of tractor hydraulic and electrical systems

Responsibilities

• Pre-delivery of new machines
• Servicing and repairs of new and used tractors and agricultural machinery in workshop and in-field
• Diagnostics on complex electric and hydraulic systems
• In-field breakdown call outs

There is currently a position vacant for the following role:

DIESEL MECHANIC / SERVICE TECHNICIAN

The role includes:

• Pre-delivery of new machines
• Servicing and repairs of new and used tractors and associated agricultural machinery including hay, forage and tillage equipment both in the workshop and in-field
• Diagnostics on complex electric and hydraulic systems
• In-field breakdown call outs

The role requires:

• Trade qualifications Heavy Vehicle / Diesel Mechanic
• Manual driver’s licence – “HR” preferred but not essential
• Exposure to Agricultural machinery (AGCO branded preferred but not essential)
• Sound knowledge of tractor hydraulic and electrical systems
