Job summary

Goulburn Valley Ag is seeking a qualified Diesel Mechanic / Service Technician to maintain, repair and overhaul farm machinery and vehicles. You will diagnose issues with both computer systems and mechanical components, service engines, and assemble/pre-deliver tractors and machinery.

This role emphasizes teamwork, customer service, and the mentoring of apprentices, with overtime opportunities and a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Experience or certificates in agriculture, auto-electrical or mechanical fields would be advantageous.
• Strong diagnostic skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work in a team and support apprentices and other staff.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, repair & overhaul farm machinery & vehicles such as tractors and harvest machinery.
• Machine diagnostics.
• Assemble & pre-deliver new tractors & machinery.
• Service & overhaul engines.
• Disassemble & reassemble machines & equipment following repair & test operation.
• Record details of repairs & parts used.
• Strong customer service skills and teamwork.
• Willing to work overtime when required.
