Job summary

Qualifications

• AQF Certificate III with at least two years of on-the-job training, or AQF Certificate IV (ANZSCO Skill Level 3).
• Diesel mechanic with around 1 year of experience preferred.
• MR Licence preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, service and repair diesel-powered machinery to manufacturer specs.
• Diagnose mechanical faults using diagnostic equipment and manuals.
• Dismantle, inspect and repair engines, transmissions and hydraulic systems.
• Carry out preventive maintenance and replace worn parts as required.
• Record repairs and service details and ensure compliance with WHS.
