Job summary

Meridian Industries in Wetherill Park, NSW is seeking a Diesel Mechanic/Hydraulic Fitter to join our team. The role involves in-house service and repair work to fit up new machines according to customer requirements, with a focus on safe, efficient outcomes.

Preferred candidates have hydraulics qualifications, welding and machining skills, and the ability to work independently or with others. Overtime and travel to the site will be required; a valid MR license and White Card are preferred.

Qualifications

• Diesel mechanic experience of 1 year preferred.
• Trade qualification in hydraulics is preferred.
• Welding and machining skills are desirable.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Willingness to work overtime/out-of-hours as required.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to Wetherill Park.

Responsibilities

• In-house service/repairs to fit up new machines per customer requirements.
• Collaborate with team to ensure timely project completion.
• Demonstrate safe, correct use of a range of tools and equipment.
• Work unsupervised and deliver consistent results.
• Provide quality service under pressure.
