Job summary

BH Mining and Civil in Rockhampton, Gladstone and Central Queensland is seeking a Diesel Mechanic to join our maintenance team, servicing heavy machinery across multiple sites.

You will diagnose, repair and service Cat and Komatsu equipment, pass medical and D&A tests, hold a valid driver’s licence and construction tickets, and work safely with the ability to travel if required.

Qualifications

• Experience diagnosing, repairing and servicing heavy machinery.
• Civil construction experience preferred.
• Must pass medical and drug & alcohol test.
• Valid driver’s licence and construction tickets.

Responsibilities

• Maintain diesel machinery across multiple sites.
• Ensure safety procedures and teamwork in operations.
• Travel to site locations as required and liaise with maintenance crew.

Job description

Diesel Mechanic required for Rockhampton, Gladstone and Central Qld locations.

Looking for diesel mechanics to join our maintenance team.

If you have experience working in the Civil Construction space, knowledge to diagnose, repair and service heavy machinery, we are seeking you.

Must be able to pass a medical and D&A test. Have drivers licence and construction ticket along with relevant trade qualifications. You must have a good approach to safety, be able work away if required, be able to self motivate, have effective communication skills, whilst working within a team environment, knowledge working with Cat and Komatsu machines preferred.
