Job summary

AAMG is seeking a Diesel Mechanic (ANZSCO 321212) to join our Blackwater Workshop in Queensland. The role involves rebuilding and maintaining mobile mining equipment, fault finding, and repairs to electrical and mechanical systems, following OEM standards and WHS guidelines.

The position is permanent and full-time, with competitive weekly pay, provided PPE, and a supportive team environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in rebuilding and maintaining mobile mining equipment.
• Expertise in adjustments & repairs to electrical and mechanical systems, including ignition, fuel injection and cooling and lubricating systems.
• Trade qualifications required.

Responsibilities

• Rebuilding and maintaining mobile mining equipment.
• Testing and diagnosis of faults in motors and mechanical systems, interpreting results/reports.
• Carry out adjustments & repairs to electrical and mechanical systems, including ignition, fuel injection and cooling and lubricating systems.
• Comply with all workshop and WHS requirements.

Job description

AAMG is currently seeking experienced Diesel Mechanics (Diesel Motor Mechanic ANZSCO 321212) to join our Blackwater Workshop.

Providing maintenance services support including, breakdown, scheduled and preventative maintenance, under the direction of the workshop supervisor. You will be required to perform routine, scheduled maintenance in accordance with OEM standards and inspection, fault finding, and repair of diesel engines. This role requires both independent work and collaboration within a team to ensure high-quality repairs and maintenance.
