Job summary

Myndshift Group is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join an established open-cut mining operation at Telfer, Western Australia. You will join the maintenance team servicing a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment.

The role offers a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth, long-term mining opportunity, and clear pathway to permanent employment, with 12-hour shifts and overtime. Applicants must be trade qualified with 2+ years post-trade experience, have a C class licence, Australian working

Qualifications

• Trade qualified Diesel Fitter or Mobile Plant Technician.
• 2+ years post-trade experience.
• Experience with heavy mobile mining equipment.
• Current C Class driver's licence.
• Australian working rights.

Responsibilities

• Service and repair heavy mining equipment on site.
• Perform preventive maintenance and fault finding on CAT/Hitachi equipment.
• Support on-site onboarding and safety requirements.

Myndshift Group supports the mining, civil construction and heavy engineering industries, partnering with leading organisations to deliver experienced personnel across Australia.

We are currently seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters to join an established open-cut mining operation at Telfer, Western Australia.

The Role

You’ll join the maintenance team servicing and repairing a large fleet of heavy mobile mining equipment, including:

• CAT 793 Dump Trucks (Essential)
• CAT 785 Water Trucks
• CAT 988 & 994 Loaders / Komatsu WA1200
• CAT D10T & D10T2 Dozers
• CAT 16M Graders
• Hitachi EX1900 & EX2600 Excavators
• CAT 6060 Excavators

Requirements

• Trade qualified Diesel Fitter / Mobile Plant Technician
• 2+ years post-trade experience
• Previous heavy mobile mining equipment experience
• Current C Class driver's licence
• Australian working rights
• Ability to pass medical, D&A and site onboarding requirements
• Available for a 2/1 FIFO roster from Perth
