Job summary

MacKellar is seeking experienced Diesel Fitters to join our Blackwater Workshop, maintaining and repairing heavy earthmoving equipment in a well-established workshop environment.

You’ll carry out servicing, diagnostics, component change-outs and repairs to keep our fleet operating safely and reliably.

Qualifications

• A relevant trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter or similar.

Responsibilities

• Carry out servicing and maintenance on heavy earthmoving equipment.
• Perform diagnostics and fault finding to identify issues.
• Carry out component change-outs and repairs.
• Maintain workshop safety and reliability of fleet.

About You

To be successful, you’ll have:

• A relevant trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter or similar


• Post-trade experience in mining or heavy equipment maintenance


• Workshop experience with heavy earthmoving equipment


• Strong diagnostic and fault-finding skills


• A current Queensland driver's licence


• A strong commitment to safety and teamwork
