Job summary

Thiess in Curragh North Coal Project, Queensland, is seeking a skilled Diesel Fitter to service and repair our mobile mining fleet. You will work on large-scale equipment to maximise reliability, availability and performance.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate in diesel fitting or equivalent qualification.
• Post-trade experience in mining or heavy earthmoving.
• Experience on heavy mining equipment including Liebherr and CAT.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork and quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Perform servicing, repairs and maintenance on large mobile mining equipment.
• Complete general maintenance, breakdown repairs and servicing to a high standard.
• Source and apply OEM manuals and maintenance info from digital systems.
• Conduct inspections to maximise utilisation and reliability.
• Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards at all times.
