Hastings Deering (Australia) Ltd is seeking an experienced Diesel Fitter to join our CRC workshop in Rocky on a permanent, Mon–Fri roster. You will perform maintenance and repairs to Cat equipment, follow up-to-date service procedures, and ensure workmanship is fault-free while meeting schedules.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and delivering quality service for customers across mining, construction and transport sectors.

We're looking for experienced Diesel Fitter to join our team in Rocky to support our award-winning team in the CRC workshop. This is a Permanent, Monday to Friday role.

• Deliver quality service - carry out maintenance and repairs to the highest standard, ensuring our customers' equipment performs at its best.


• Follow the right procedures - research and consult the correct and latest service information systems for specific procedures, instructions and specifications.


• Do it once, do it right - take every step to ensure workmanship is fault-free ensuring quality in the finished product and any rework is avoided.


• Work to schedule - complete assigned tasks within required timeframes while maintaining safety and quality.


• Safety first, ALWAYS! Ensure safety goals are achieved through personal commitment, no harm to self or others and participation in safety initiatives

What you'll need

• Trade qualifications - Certificate III in Mobile Plant Technology, Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent diesel fitter trade.


• Strong communicator - excellent communication skills with a genuine customer focus.


• Organised and efficient - strong time management skills to keep jobs on track.


• Team player - able to work well with others as well as independently when required.
