Job summary

Oz Mechanical Contracting PTY LTD – Mount Isa is seeking experienced Heavy Diesel Fitters for ongoing FIFO/DIDO underground maintenance work across VIC, NSW, and QLD. You will primarily work on Sandvik, Caterpillar, and Epiroc underground equipment, performing inspections, diagnostics, and routine maintenance.

The role emphasises safety, accurate record-keeping, and adherence to quality standards. 7/7 or 2/2 rosters with 12-hour shifts offer stable, long-term work opportunities.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated diagnostic and repair skills for underground diesel systems.
• Experience performing routine maintenance with underground equipment.
• Strong commitment to health and safety standards and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure all work meets relevant safety standards and quality benchmarks

About you

• A recognised qualification in diesel fitting or Heavy Diesel Mechanic
• A commitment to health and safety standards and workplace compliance
• Sound knowledge in troubleshooting, and repair techniques
