Job summary

Cater Care Australia is seeking a Utility to support camp operations in South West Australia. The role involves day and night shifts, housekeeping, kitchen hand duties, dining room duties, bar and retail service, and general cleaning.

You’ll work with the on-site team across varied rosters and receive meals, uniforms and accommodation. The position demands a flexible, energetic team member who can uphold safety standards and deliver friendly customer service while adapting to a fast-paced

Responsibilities

• Day and Night shift - must be flexible to work both
• Housekeeping duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds
• Kitchen hand duties - basic food prep and significant dishwashing
• Dining room duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
• Bar & retail duties - serving residents in the camp bar and shop areas
• Common Area Cleaning - cleaning duties
• Laundry Services - washing, drying & sorting of linen
• Repetitive, physical tasks including heavy lifting
• Assist on-site broader team as required
• Demonstrate a strong safety culture

Full time employment

Multiple rosters available as follows

• 2 Weeks on/1 Week off
• 5 Days on/2 Days off
• 4 Days on/3 Days off
• 3 Weeks on/1 Week off

What does a day in the life of a Utility look like?

• Day and Night shift - must be flexible to work both
• Housekeeping duties - room and ensuite cleaning, making beds
• Kitchen hand duties - assist with basic food prep and significant dishwashing
• Dining room duties - maintain cleanliness, stock and crib food levels
• Bar & retail duties - serving residents in the camp bar and shop areas
• Common Area Cleaning - emptying bins, sweeping, mopping, general cleaning
• Laundry Services - washing, drying & sorting of linen and other items
• Repetitive, physical tasks, including heavy lifting and bending
• Assists the on-site broader team as required
• Demonstrate a strong safety culture

Skills and Experiences

• The ability to work well independently, as well as with other team members
• A commitment to genuine, friendly customer service
• A motivated, enthusiastic and positive 'can-do' attitude
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, time-sensitive environment, sometimes for long periods.

Requirements

• Current Australian driver's license (C class)
• Unlimited Australian working rights
• Police clearance (within 6 months)
• Hospitality experience
• RSA (highly desirable)
