Job summary

Registered Nurse - Dialysis Unit with GV Health in Greater Shepparton is sought to provide and coordinate all aspects of quality patient care in a 16-chair haemodialysis unit, liaising with nephrologists and the multidisciplinary team.

Ideal candidates will hold AHPRA registration, have dialysis nursing experience desirable, and demonstrate excellent communication and commitment to ongoing education and professional development within a collaborative regional health service.

Qualifications

• AHPRA registration as a Registered Nurse
• Experience in Haemodialysis Nursing is desirable
• Demonstrated ability to provide quality patient care
• High level verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated commitment to developing and improving personal education skills

Responsibilities

• Provide and coordinate all aspects of quality patient care in the Haemodialysis unit
• Work with patients to build therapeutic relationships over years to support their health journey
• Liaise with on-site Nephrologists and a multidisciplinary team including Dieticians, Podiatrists, and Educators
• Contribute to ongoing education and training in haemodialysis
