Job summary

Fresenius Medical Care is seeking a Registered Nurse to deliver life-sustaining haemodialysis care. You will work with a multidisciplinary team to monitor patient progress, provide treatments, and support patients and families in a compassionate, patient-centered environment.

You will maintain clinical competencies, adhere to APHRA standards, privacy principles, and WHS policies while contributing to quality improvements and staff education across Sydney clinics.

Qualifications

• Registered nurse with AHPRA and current practising certificate.
• Nephrology nursing theory and practice.
• Clinical competence in nephrology nursing.
• Effective communication and teamwork within a multidisciplinary setting.
• Strong organizational, decision-making and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to educate staff and patients.
• Knowledge of nursing and nephrology issues affecting practice.
• Experience in Renal/Haemodialysis environment with dialysis knowledge.
• Computer literacy.

Responsibilities

• Participate in design, planning, delivery and evaluation of patient care within the haemodialysis clinical setting.
• Protect patient rights by adhering to Privacy Principles and providing high standard of care.
• Provide education to colleagues, patients and visitors.
• Maintain a safe, secure and healthy working environment per WHS policy.
• Contribute to quality improvement by reporting incidents, hazards and improvement opportunities.
• Complete clinical and mandatory competencies annually.
• Perform defined management functions when required.
• Maintain accurate patient information in TDMS with confidentiality.
