Job summary

Westgold Resources Limited is seeking a Dewatering Technician for our Higginsville Operation in Norseman, WA. You will support processing and maintenance teams, service remote field equipment, and manage water transfer systems to ensure continuous operations.

Applicants should hold a current WA C Class manual licence, mining plant experience, and a poly welding ticket; Telehandler/IT Loader/CN-LF tickets are desirable. FIFO and DIDO options are available.

Qualifications

• Current WA manual driving licence.
• Experience in a gold or similar processing plant.
• Poly welding ticket preferred; other machinery tickets desirable.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Able to work in a remote mining camp environment and shifts.

Responsibilities

• Assist processing and maintenance teams in daily operations.
• Maintain and service remote field equipment (gensets, pumps, lighting towers).
• Manage remote fuel, refuel, record use, inspections, etc.
• Clean and maintain plant areas with mobile equipment (IT loaders, forklift).
• Monitor water management and pipeline inspections; document history.
• Perform poly pipe welding repairs and modifications as required.
• Participate in maintenance planning activities.
• Liaise with contractors and stakeholders as needed.
